Who does Arterial work with?

Arterial works with private collectors, galleries, museums, designers, and estates. Services are scoped to the collection and project, from placing a single artwork to planning packing, movement, or collection documentation.

Who we serve

Can Arterial install and remove artwork?

Yes. Arterial offers art installation and deinstallation as agreed in the project proposal. Share photographs, dimensions, approximate weight, placement preferences, and wall or access concerns so the team can assess the work. Installation does not include structural engineering certification or wall repair unless separately agreed with an appropriate professional.

Installation services

Does Arterial provide artwork packing and custom crating?

Arterial reviews packing and custom crating requirements for individual artworks and projects. The artwork, materials, fragility, and planned movement determine the proposed approach. Supplies or custom crates may require an agreed advance payment before purchase or fabrication.

Packing and handling

Does Arterial transport artwork between states?

Yes. Arterial performs interstate artwork transportation directly and does not use third-party carriers. New transport enquiries, including Idaho and Utah projects, are reviewed individually. Route, timing, scope, and insurance arrangements require confirmation before booking.

Artwork transport

Can I request art services in Sun Valley or Salt Lake City?

Yes. Arterial accepts project enquiries for Sun Valley and Ketchum in Idaho, and Salt Lake City in Utah. Availability is confirmed individually based on the location, artwork, scope, and schedule; an enquiry does not guarantee a service date.

Request a project estimate

Can I reserve a regular art shuttle?

Not currently. Scheduled shuttle service is in development, and routes and launch dates have not been announced. You may express interest in future service, but that is not a reservation. Individually arranged transport projects can be discussed separately.

Transport availability

Does Arterial offer fine art storage?

Arterial does not currently offer storage services. Joining a storage interest list does not reserve space or create a storage agreement.

Estimates and booking

What information is needed for an artwork handling estimate?

Provide artwork photographs, dimensions, approximate weight, material, known condition concerns, and value, along with the requested services and dates. Include pickup and destination details where relevant, plus stairs, elevators, parking, loading access, and any special handling instructions. This helps Arterial assess the work and prepare an appropriate proposal.

Request an estimate

Does requesting an estimate confirm a booking?

No. An estimate request starts a discussion. A booking requires agreement on the written proposal, scope, schedule, and project-specific conditions. Additional work or significant changes are discussed and authorized before proceeding.

Booking terms

Is my artwork insured by Arterial?

Arterial maintains general liability insurance, subject to its policy terms and exclusions. That is not a promise of full-value artwork coverage. Clients are responsible for their own insurance for the full value of each artwork throughout the contracted handling, packing, installation, and transportation activities. Confirm the relevant coverage with your insurer before work begins.

Insurance responsibilities

Can Arterial help me obtain additional artwork insurance?

Arterial can assist with introductions to a licensed insurance professional and supply project information for coverage enquiries. Additional insurance must be approved and confirmed by the insurer or its authorized representative before the relevant work begins. Arterial does not bind coverage or guarantee claim payment.

Payments and changes

Do I need to pay a deposit for art handling services?

Arterial does not require a standard percentage deposit for every job. Custom crates, supplies, special-order materials, or significant upfront expenses may require an advance payment agreed in writing. Advance payments are credited against the final invoice.

Deposit and payment terms

When is payment due, and which payment methods are accepted?

Invoices are normally issued when the contracted work is complete and are due within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing. Arterial accepts credit cards through Stripe, Zelle, and bank transfer. Overdue, undisputed balances may accrue simple interest at 12% annually, capped at the lawful maximum, under the accepted terms.

What happens if I cancel or reschedule?

For cancellations, maximum scheduling charges are zero with at least 72 hours of notice, up to 50% with 48 to under 72 hours, up to 75% with 24 to under 48 hours, and up to 100% with less than 24 hours. These apply to agreed labor and transport charges for the affected unperformed work and are capped by reasonable, documented net loss. Completed work and approved nonreturnable materials may remain payable. Rescheduling and emergency exceptions are explained in the full terms.
